CRITERIA FOR SELECTING YOUR ABOVEGROUND TANK
The SuperSafe Tank: UL-142 Standard.
The SuperSafe Tank has received wide
national acceptance for use in storage of flammable, combustible, and hazardous liquids. Designed to prevent liquids
from accidentally escaping due to human error, equipment failure, and natural disasters, the SuperSafe Tank ensures
superior safety, environmental responsibility and unparalleled life cycle value. With wide application, the SuperSafe
design will save millions of dollars annually in environmental cleanups by preventing catastrophic events.
The salient element of the SuperSafe
design is the all-steel, 360 degree Cylindrical Dike that completely encloses the primary tank and all attached
piping. At 25 percent greater capacity than the primary tank, the Cylindrical Dike totally captures tank overfills,
pipe leaks and tank leaks, and protects against weather, vandalism and ballistics.

The superior safety ensured by
the totally enclosed Cylindrical Dike translates to savings by avoiding the costly maintenance problems that open
diking often incurs. Problems avoided include weather/water accumulation and the resultant frequent painting, disposition
of hazardous liquids due to fuel spills into the water-filled dike, and obtaining storm- water discharge permits.
SuperSafe's many safety features also
include an inert gas system in which the Cylindrical Dike is purged of oxygen and filled with nitrogen, thus eliminating
the possibility of fire, explosion and rusting within the Cylindrical Dike. The nitrogen barrier creates a thermal
buffer to protect the primary tank against heat, and reduces tank set-back requirements by 50 percent, per NFPA-30.
Additional fire protection is offered where regulations require UL-2085 protection.
The SuperSafe Tank - a single, modular unit - provides greater flexibility and minimizes relocation costs to ensure
easy relocation to anywhere nationwide. SuperSafe's inherent prevention by design - ensured by its Overfill Protection
System, Spill Protection System, Leak Protection System, Vandalism Protection System, Ballistics Protection System,
Fire Prevention System, and Control and Alarm System - eliminates the risks and costs associated with aboveground
fuel storage.

SuperSafe Use is Recommended When:
- Risk minimization and cost-effectiveness are essential.
- Maximum safety is required, especially near endangered aquifers, waterways, storage of hazardous liquids, extensive
fuel transfers, etc.
- Where diking is required by regulations.
