SYSTEM OPTIONS: SUPERSAFE TANK COMPONENTS
150 GPM Standard Aviation Refueling
Station. This pumping configuration is compliant with: F.A.A., A.T.A., D.O.T., N.F.P.A.,
U.F.C., N.E.C., UL as well as recognized industry practices and standards. This stations standard capability
allows it off-load delivery transports, fuel airport refueler trucks and circulate fuel from storage to storage
through designed filter separator systems.

Through-putted fuel is always filtered.
All dispensed fuel is filtered and metered to either bottom loaded trucks or aircraft under or overwing.
- Standard bonding / grounding system between truck and fueling station.
- Intrinsic deadman control to stop pump motor and relieve fuel pressure.
- Equipment control and status panel.
- All electrical components are classified explosion proof or intrinsically safe.
- All upstream liquid bearing piping is ANSI Sch#40, all heli-arc welded, 150 lb. flanged, hydrostaticly tested
and certified leak tight.
- Delivery piping downstream from filtration is 316 SS, welded, tested, and certified leak tight.
- 3" Camlock transport adapter with locking cap.
- Quarter turn, quick closing, ductile iron, viton seated, lockable butter-fly valves located on inlet / outlet
of tank and transport connections.
- Pump inlet strainer with 100SS mesh extractable basket.
- Positive displacement pump, calibratable internal pressure by-pass, self priming, geared, coupled, motor mounted
on torque proof frame.
- Flanged 3" SS flexible convoluted vibration suppression piping.
- Jet-A HF -1633 Filter separator / coalescer. Derated for improved performance and long life. With Gammon Pressure
Differential Gauge, 0 - 150 psi pressure gauge, inlet / outlet Millipore sampling ports, flow check valve, SS air
eliminator*, pressure relief valve*, automatically heated sump thermostatically controlled, automatic water detection
with alarm and pump motor shut down, fail-safe manual sump drain. 100-LL VF-844-LMP Aquacon Filter, Derated. With
Gammon Pressure Differential Gauge, 0 -150 psi pressure gauge, full flow Millipore sampling port, flow check valve,
air eliminator*, pressure relief valve*, fail-safe manual sump drain.

- SuperSafe Closed Sump Sampler System when selected, is designed to separate tank sump samples and over-flow
from filtration. Routes good fuel back to storage while separating contaminated samples for normal disposal.
- LCM-15-A-2 Meter and counter. Derated for maximum life and minimum maintenance.
- Motored rewind reels with cord guides for deadman and bonding / grounding leads.
- Jet-A Bulk bottom loading Goodyear Hose 2½" x 15' w/ Thiem F116V7A Nozzle and tethered dust cap.
100-LL bottom loading Goodyear Hose 2" x 15' w/ Civicon KL-1711-D-1075 Nozzle and cap.
- Kink resistant hose hangers.
- Jet-A direct to aircraft center point refueling hose, with isolation ball valve, Goodyear 2" x 75' w/
Thiem quick disconnect and w/ Thiem F116V7A, Nozzle and tethered dust cap.
- Wound on Hannay electric rewind reel with auxiliary hand crank, OSHA safety rewind button, four way hose guides,
and painted with durable two part epoxy paint.
- Jet-A Overwing fueling, Thiem quick disconnect dry break, swiveled to Goodyear Hose 1¼" x 20' adapted
to OPW 295 SAJ Nozzle.
- Bottom loading hoses all hung on a kink resistant hose hangers.
- 100-LL Overwing fueling, w/ isolation ball valve and Goodyear Hose 1¼" x 75' w/ swivel and OPW-295
SA Nozzle.
Wound on Hannay electric rewind reel with auxiliary hand crank, and painted
with durable two part epoxy paint.
- SuperSafe failsafe positive bonding grounding system provides constant
earth grounding to the truck or aircraft being fueled. In the event
the intrinsic loop is lost the system alerts the operator and stops
the pump motor and fuel flow.
- SuperSafe Deadman Control for bottom loading fuel or underwing refueling.
Switching is available on the control panel to disarm the system for
overwing fueling. The deadman cord is rewound on a Hannay motored
reel.
- Totally assembled, tested, epoxy painted and installed in a appropriately sized pump compartment that assures
user friendly access while protecting the equipment from the ravages of nature, vandals, and time. See pump house
and equipment option pages.
The criteria established for this
system is based on years of experience with fuel handling, the design and manufacturing of fuel handling equipment
and storage tanks. It has been learned over time that this type of equipment is under constant assault from the
chemicals they contain, the environment they exist in and the people that use them. We strive to consider these
factors as every specific component comes together and to assure that the completed assembly is long lasting, durable,
user friendly and maintenance free as possible. These are value added benefits that will pay off over the years
of trouble free service.
